Washington's Armor

Aaron Burns and Tammy Lane joined forces with Production Designer, Nick Burns & eventually Zach Kepple. Nathan was hired as Cast, to play Daniel Custis opposite Micah Hanson's Martha Custis-Washington, but he was also surreptitiously absorbed into some emergency heavy lifting in Art Department helping Daniel Stibral build Governor Dinwoodie's mansion replica which was way behind schedule. No problem! Nathan is also a Scenic and oft Art Director! Triple threat! After a long stymied production season due to the pandemic, Nathan became responsible for Art Directing several items, and scenes, and finished volume one in Lawton, Oklahoma on the team as Art Director. Several items in Washington's Armor are Nathan's hand-crafted Scenic work: the mansion door header, Dinwoodie ballroom & Bellview Mansion picture frames, etc... Nathan even sculpted several practical ice-bergs that were floated (puppeteered) on the James River in Virginia.
